Join Zechariah House for a one-day pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady of Champion, followed by an excursion into beautiful Door County. Zechariah House pilgrimages are designed to strengthen your faith an d promote good health and healing.
The day begins with continental breakfast at Zechariah House, followed by traveling to the Shrine for a tour, Mass, prayer and reflection in the oratory (apparition site), confession, a visit to the bookstore/visitor center, and perhaps a Rosary walk.
Next is fun in Door County, starting with Renard’s Cheese Store for a bit of sampling. The beauty of Cave Point County Park provides a scenic picnic spot for lunch. The afternoon is rounded out with a drive through quaint communities, stopping in Sister Bay for a quick visit to Al Johnson’s Swedish Butik - they have goats on the roof!
On our way to Fish Creek, we will stop at Eagle Tower for a gorgeous view of the lake and surroundings. At Fish Creek we will arrive in time to watch the outdoor fish boil at Pelletier’s Restaurant before we enjoy white fish, red potatoes, coleslaw, sliced bread and butter, beverages, and Door County cherry pie! Back to Zechariah House around 9:00 PM.
